Skil-Aire Terms of Service

Welcome to Skil-Aire. By scheduling service, purchasing equipment, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

Skil-Aire provides air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and indoor air quality services, including but not limited to:

• Installation of HVAC systems
• Maintenance and repair services
• Sales of HVAC parts and equipment
• Emergency repair services (subject to availability)

All services are performed by licensed technicians where required by law.

2. Estimates & Quotes

• All estimates provided by Skil-Aire are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• Quotes are based on current material costs and labor rates; significant changes in costs may result in adjustments.
• Verbal estimates are non-binding.

3. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, check, major credit cards.
• Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly interest fee or the maximum allowed by law.
• For large projects, a deposit may be required.

4. Warranty & Liability

• Skil-Aire provides a 1-year labor warranty on installations and repairs unless otherwise specified.
• Manufacturer warranties on parts apply as provided.
• Skil-Aire is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing system issues, improper system use, or acts of nature.
• Warranty is void if work is altered or tampered with by unauthorized persons.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure clear access to equipment for service.
• Notify Skil-Aire of any hazardous conditions or known issues.
• Maintain regular service to preserve warranty coverage.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Please provide 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Same-day cancellations may incur a service fee.
• Skil-Aire reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety issues, or emergencies.

7. Website Use

By using Skil-Aire’s website:

• You agree not to misuse content, copy material, or use it for commercial purposes without permission.
• Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; Skil-Aire is not responsible for their content.

8. Limitation of Liability

Skil-Aire’s liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where services are provided.

10. Changes to Terms

Skil-Aire reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
